Psychosocial Tournament Report

As a way of meaningfully engaging the adolescent girls and young women, this quarter, they were asked to identify some of the Psycho social activities that they would involve themselves in with their peers from other groups. The activities identified included netball, debate, riley runs, modellingand modelling, dancing and eating competitions. This was aimed at creating team cohesion, foster friendships and relieve stress of their day to day lives. It was a free and friendly environment that would help the AGYW to open up, build rapport amongst themselves, with the mentors and social workers. The activities involved the community, local leaders, parents and the partners of the AGYW. The psycho social tournaments attracted a total of 1,110 AGYW. Download the report
